Posse Comitatus is supposed to prevent the U.S. military from engaging
in police actions on U.S. soil. There are lots of good reasons for this,
but mainly it’s military-takeover repellent. When the police arrest
you, there is process. When the Marines arrest you, you need a prisoner
exchange to get you out.

Barr DOJ Dismisses Case Against Russian Hackers Just In Time For 2020 Election
Once again, the Russians out-trolled us, but this time they turned their
sites on America’s judicial system. Yesterday the Justice Department moved to dismiss charges against “Putin’s Chef” Yevgeny Prigozhin,
who funded a squad of Russian hackers that flooded social media with
divisive, anti-Clinton propaganda during the 2016 election.
