As the race intensifies, it could be essential for Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders to step out of their comfort zones as they face off in Brooklyn.

The press thought Trump’s first 30 minutes were his best. They were his worst.
The press needs to do its job, not the voters’ job. The first 30 minutes was called for Trump in the debate. Eventhough the author agrees that stylistically this was Trumps' best portion of the debate, factually it was his worst. He was wrong on NAFTA, trade, jobs.
The Morning After the Debate, Donald Trump Goes on the Attack
Mr. Trump lashed out at the debate moderator, complained about his microphone and threatened to make Bill Clinton’s marital infidelity a campaign issue in a TV appearance Tuesday.
Presidential Debate: Here’s What You Missed
Hillary Clinton dominated a final series of debate exchanges with Donald J. Trump about national security and gender, telling voters they could not trust her opponent with nuclear weapons and warning that he does not respect women.
Trump is wrong: Hillary Clinton did not laugh about the rape of a 12-year-old
It is totally false to say that Hillary Clinton laughed about the rape of a 12-year-old. And it has been thoroughly debunked. In the 1980s, Arkansas journalist Roy Reed interviewed Hillary Clinton about the case, recording their conversation on tapes for a magazine story than never ultimately was published. In the recordings, there are spots where Clinton chuckles — but never about the central thrust of the case. At one point, recounting that her client passed a polygraph test, she chuckles while saying that it “forever destroyed my faith in polygraphs.”
Fact Checks of the Second Presidential Debate

Pence is wrong: The U.S. spends way too much on its military
Despite Michael Pence’s claim that we need to begin by “rebuilding our military,” the U.S. is not even close to losing its overwhelming military dominance.. Last year, the United States spent $600 billion on its military – roughly as much as the next eight countries put together.
Trump Makes the Case for Jailing Hillary
At the lowest point in the second presidential debate Hillary Clinton tried to blame her compulsive lying on Abraham Lincoln. Not the real Lincoln, but the fictional version depicted in the Spielberg movie. Hillary’s lies come apart within 5 minutes of being told. And yet nothing is ever her fault. Previously she had blamed her rogue email operation on Colin Powell. Now she decided to blame her lies on Lincoln.
Trump suggests Clinton was on drugs during debates, says they should get tested next time.
So it’s come to this. Now Donald Trump seems to have come up with a new excuse as to why Hillary Clinton won the last debate: she had an unfair advantage. The Republican presidential candidate pretty much accused his opponent on Saturday of having taken drugs before the last debate and said it was only fair for the two of them to do drug tests prior to the third presidential debate. “I think she’s actually getting pumped up, she’s getting pumped up, you understand, she’s getting pumped up for Wednesday night,” Trump said.
